Announcing "Beerfest FRIDAY'S: Play for the Pot!" - Official Launch: Oct. 11

"Beerfest FRIDAY'S: Play for the Pot!" is Ottawa's latest & greatest new concert series! Hosted by singer-songwriter Ashley Newall & taking place @ Lunenburg Pub downtown, Play for the Pot features Ottawa's BEST up & coming bands EVERY WEEK!
Here's how it works: 4 bands compete for their share of the door on an ascending scale based on fan voting (w/ the winning band getting the largest %), and the bar then matches those $ amounts in prizing! (Prizing includes St. John's Music gift cards, a free advert on Couch Assassin events website, etc.)
The winning band then advances to the Winner's Circle (held on the last Fri. of the following month) & the 2nd place band is entered into a 'wild card' to potentially qualify for same. Winner's Circle victors then advance to the Champions League & play for a day @ Gallery Recording Studio!
Admission is 2 toonies (or 3 bucks w/ student ID!), & delicious Lunenbrew pints are only $5.50!
To ENTER YOUR BAND simply email ashley @theburg.ca w/ a link to your music (&/or a video).
Keep your finger firmly on the pulse of Ottawa indie & check it out, every Friday (starting Oct. 11) @ the 'Burg!
